Nigeria stun South Africa in the deadlock and qualify for the semi-finals
Nigeria qualified for the semi-finals of the African Nations Cup, after an impressive win over South African counterpart, 2-1, in the meeting that was held this evening at the Cairo International Stadium in the quarter-finals.
Nigeria were able to score in the 27th minute with Samuel Shukwezi, and in the 71st minute South Africa scored the equalizer through Bongani Zongo.
The Nigerian team managed to grab the winning goal in the 89th minute by William Econing after a corner inside the penalty area around William Econge in the net, ending with the victory and qualify Nigeria.
