Algeria is the first Arab to qualify for the African Nations Cup quarterfinal
Algeria booked their place in the quarterfinals of the African Cup of Nations, following a 3-0 win over Guinea in the final.
The Algerian team dominated the match and was the best side in the match at the air defense court, translating their advantage to three goals.
Youssef Belaili opened the scoring for the Deserters in the 24th minute, and the star (Riad Mehrez) doubled the score with a second goal in the 57th minute.
In the 85th minute, Adam Wens scored the third goal to ensure that Desert Warriors qualified for the quarter-finals of the tournament.
Algeria, who face Mali and Cote d'Ivoire, will face Algeria on Thursday (July 11th) at the Suez Stadium in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
