Chelsea won the European Championship title for the second time in their history by beating neighbors Arsenal in the final match held this evening in the Azerbaijani capital Baku, (4-1).
In the 13th minute, Arsenal almost opened the scoring after a game by Ozil Laupamiang, but the ball went past the keeper. In the 31st minute, Chaka almost did it with a powerful shot.
After that, there was more than one attempt for Chelsea, especially by Italian Emerson Palmeire from the left, and French striker Olivier Girou, especially the ball that Cech sent in the 39th minute.
The second half was a different one. Chelsea opened the scoring after 49 minutes after Emerson Palmeri's left-footed shot, and Olivier Giroux had a superb header against goalkeeper Petr Cech.
The second goal came in the 60th minute by Spaniard Pedro Rodrรญguez after a pass from Eden Hazard, who scored his third goal from a penalty kick in the 65th minute.
At the 69th minute, the Gunners reduced the lead with a shot from substitute Alex Ayoubi, but the Blues pulled back the score with a fourth goal by Hazzard after the ball with Jiro and then put it in the net.
