Al Hilal Saudi Arabia lost their first match in the AFC Champions League against Tehran's 2-1 victory over Iranian soil.
Tehran's independence was opened in the final minute by Ali Karimi, and in the 30th minute, independence doubled the score with a second goal from Begman Montazeri.
Al Hilal managed to reduce the score with a goal scored by Frenchman Pavitimbe Gomes in the 71st minute, but this goal did not match the leader.
Despite the loss, Al-Hilal continued to lead the group with 6 points and Tehran's independence increased to 4 points, equal to Qatar's Al-Dahil, while Al Ain remain in the last position with two points.
