Tottenham Hotspur qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League with a 1-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund in a 4-0 home win.
The hosts opened the scoring in the 16th minute after defender Manuel Akanjee lifted the ball to Baku to take the Spaniard and put it over goalkeeper Hugo Lauris to go over the goal in the first real attempt at the meeting.
In the 21st minute, Dortmund tried again with a pass by Rafael Guerrero from left to captain Marko Rios in the area, hitting it with his left foot, hitting the Spurs defender, Devonson Sanchez, to reach Lauris who held it firmly.
In the 30th minute, Tottenham came to an end with a dangerous volley from a counter-attack. Christian Ereksen passed the ball to Hyong Min-Soon for the South Korean star to speed and throw it past the right-hand corner of Roman Borque.
In the 33rd minute, Dortmund was close to scoring, with a superb header from Julien Feigle, who was saved by Lauris, and then followed by the defender himself, but the defender missed her. In the 34th minute, Ruice hit the defense and went past the post and turned to a corner.
A minute later, Loris made another serious attempt with a guts from inside the area. In the 37th minute, Lauris took another shot through Gadon Sancho, allowing the visitors to maintain their net until the end of the first half.
With the start of the second half, and especially in the 48th minute, Tottenham ended everything when they reached the net after a pass from Moussa Sissoko to Harry Kane in the absence of defense, to put it in the goal brilliantly.
