Egyptian club Zamalek, led by Swiss Christian Gross, took the African Confederation Cup quarterfinals, after a draw against Algerian side Nasr Daisy.
With a draw that lifted Zamalek to nine points in the top of the final group of the Confederation, ahead of the second-ranked Ken Mahia of the goal difference.
Of the six games the owner has played in this group, he has won three wins and three draws and lost only one game, to include a seat in the Confederation Quarterfinals.
