The Saudi team went to the Asian Cup finals in the final round with a loss from the Japanese team in the game played on Monday afternoon at Sharjah Stadium 0-1, to beat Japan in Vietnam in the quarterfinals.
Saudi Arabia started the game well, but the Japanese team was hit by a goal, scored in the 20th minute with a raised ball from a corner, was met by Takheiro Tomiasso with a distinctive header against goalkeeper Mohamed Al Owais amid poor control of the defense.
In the second half, Al-Akhdar tried to return to the equalizer and missed several chances, especially the chance of Salem Al Dosari and Ali Al-Balaihi. However, these opportunities were lost with great care on the part of Saudi players.
The Saudi attempts continued after the pressure on the Samurai, while the Japanese team tried to end things, scoring a second goal of counter-attacks, and did not come any new in the outcome, the game ended with the victory of Japan.
