Iran qualified for the semi-final of the Asian Nations Cup (UAE 2019), following the deserved victory of their Chinese counterpart 3-0, at the meeting held this evening at the Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Jazira Club in the quarter-finals.
The Iranian team managed to score the goal by (Mahdi Tarmi) in the 18th minute, after a ball sank by Sardar of the player of China before sending a cross from inside the box around it Trami in the net easily.
In the 31st minute, Iran scored a second goal through Sardar Izmun after a long ball behind the defenders, Svetar, before the Chinese goalkeeper dribbled the ball into the net.
In the second half, the Iranian team continued their advantage and attempts and wasted some opportunity to score but the goalkeeper of China was on the lookout, as the Chinese team tried in some attacks, hoping to return in the result but to no avail.
In the 90th minute, Iran scored a third goal through Karim Ansari after a quick counter-attack and a defensive thud that ended with a solitary pass through the penalty area, ending the match 3-0 to Iran.
Iran will face Korea Republic in the semi-final on Monday (January 26th), as Korea qualified to reach the semi-finals after beating Vietnam 1-0 in the quarter-finals.
